According to Jin10 on May 26, The Wall Street Journal retracted its earlier report claiming the U.S. Navy escorted a Greek supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of oil through the Strait of Oman as part of a restart of "Operation Freedom Guardian." A U.S. Central Command spokesperson clarified that the U.S. has not resumed the operation, and the prior coverage was inaccurate.
