Voting requires participation. When DReps do not engage, treasury withdrawals cannot pass. The threshold is fixed against total delegated stake, not the subset that votes. Inactivity reduces the ability to reach consensus. Capital remains unallocated, creating a spend freeze.

As voting participation drops, thresholds do not. If we do not contribute and coordinate the treasury will become increasingly difficult to access. I kind of like this.

It's definitely something to keep in mind with treasury spend at a period when the ADA price is as low as currently. For context 57 pools in the last 23 epochs have retired. Total Retired pools 3,174 Total Pools with block 3,352

With the price of ADA dropping and reward distribution also continuing to drop, Cardano SPO'S are fighting for survival currently. Tag an SPO to thank them for the hard work they are doing in keeping Cardano operational, secure and decentralized.
