Top 1% Investors Buy SK Hynix, SK Telecom as Semiconductor Stocks Tumble on July 28

According to Mirae Asset Securities, top 1% investors by recent investment returns bought SK Hynix and SK Telecom on July 28 morning as semiconductor stocks tumbled. SK Hynix fell 12.61% to 1.587 million won, while SK Telecom dropped 16.65% to 81,600 won. The selloff was triggered by Chinese chipmaker CXMT's Shanghai listing and concerns over intensified global semiconductor competition. SK Telecom's long-term AI data center business, backed by a new subsidiary SK Hyper with 750 billion won in planned investment through 2030, remained in focus among analysts.
