Samsung announced at Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22 that Samsung Wallet will add native support for stablecoins, displaying a mockup featuring Circle's USDC. The company did not confirm a launch date, specific issuer, or blockchain network. Lee Dinham, Samsung's product manager, stated the move would make Samsung one of the first major smartphone brands to offer native stablecoins, enabling "fast and trusted digital value transfers."
