SK to Delist SK Signet, Launches Public Share Acquisition at 8,200 Won Per Share with 20% Premium

According to Yonhapnews, SK announced on July 24 its decision to delist subsidiary SK Signet and conduct a public share acquisition for minority shareholders. The acquisition price is set at 8,200 won per share, representing a premium of over 20% compared to the weighted average trading price over the past month.

The public acquisition period runs from July 24 to August 24. SK plans to purchase up to approximately 10 million common and preferred shares of SK Signet during this period. Following the acquisition, SK will proceed with a comprehensive stock exchange to complete the delisting process. The company targets completing the delisting and consolidating SK Signet as a full subsidiary by the end of Q4 2026, with plans to divest the company by Q1 2027 as part of its portfolio rebalancing strategy.
