Mobileye to Launch Own Robotaxi Service in U.S. in 2027, Scaling to ~17,000 Vehicles in Five Years

According to Mobileye Global (MBLY-US), the autonomous driving technology supplier announced on June 18 that it will launch its own robotaxi service in the United States in 2027, starting with approximately 100 vehicles and scaling to about 17,000 units over the next five years. The service will leverage Mobileye Drive, its autonomous driving platform, along with traffic data and routing capabilities from subsidiary Moovit. Mobileye will operate the vehicles in partnership with vehicle platforms and fleet integration partners but will not manufacture the vehicles itself.
