BlockBeats News, March 27 — Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated that approximately 80% of the company’s issued perpetual preferred stock STRC is held by retail investors. The product pays dividends monthly, with an current annualized yield of about 11.5%.
Saylor said that STRC is designed as a low-volatility income instrument trading around a $100 face value, and the dividend rate can be adjusted based on market conditions. This year, Strategy has raised funds through this product and used them to allocate Bitcoin, with a total investment nearing $3 billion. The company plans to raise a total of $42 billion through related financing arrangements, with STRC accounting for $21 billion. Benchmark analysts noted that as demand for STRC grows, Strategy’s Bitcoin allocation capacity may continue to increase. (Bloomberg)
