Europol Disables 326 Servers, Seizes $47M in Crypto During Global Malware Crackdown

According to Europol, on Wednesday the agency led Operation Endgame, an international law enforcement action that disabled 326 servers and 142 domains used in global "cybercrime-as-a-service" malware campaigns. The operation, coordinated with Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Microsoft, resulted in the seizure of $47 million in crypto assets of criminal origin and the recovery of over 27 million stolen credentials. The action targeted three malware platforms: SocGholish, StealC, and Amadey, which together were linked to approximately 140,000 infections in May alone.
