BlackBerry Stock Jumps 7% Overnight as QNX Drives Growth, EPS Expected at $0.03

According to Fiscal.ai, BlackBerry (BB) stock jumped 7% overnight ahead of fiscal Q1 2027 earnings on Thursday, with the company gaining 164% so far this year. The rally reflects investor optimism over the company's QNX automotive software division, which posted 14% revenue growth in fiscal 2026 and powers digital displays and autonomous driving functions across more than 250 million vehicles globally.

CFO Tim Foote said in June that BlackBerry has completed most of its turnaround and is shifting from cost-cutting to growth, with QNX expected to expand by about 15% going forward. Wall Street analysts forecast first-quarter earnings of $0.03 per share and revenue of $137.9 million.
