According to CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance, Bitcoin fell to $58,188 on Thursday before recovering to $59,273, marking a 3.3% decline over the past day. Meanwhile, Strategy's flagship preferred stock STRC dropped 8% to $74.13, extending its drift to more than 25% below its $100 par value.
Liquidations accelerated across the crypto market during the selloff, with CoinGlass data showing over $1.44 billion in positions liquidated in the past 24 hours, dominated by long positions at $1.2 billion. Bitcoin led with $658 million in total liquidations.
