DBS Rolls Out AI Banking Tools to 10 Million Users Across Asia on July 28

According to DBS, the Singapore-based bank rolled out generative and agentic AI features to its DBS Joy and DBS digibot platforms on July 28, reaching over 10 million users in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. In Singapore, 350,000 corporate users on DBS Joy now have access to agentic capabilities, enabling authenticated customers to complete banking tasks via chat, including checking payment status, transfers, and fees in a single conversation. Another 100,000 users in Hong Kong are set to receive the features in September, with voice AI capabilities planned for the fourth quarter.
