China Forecasts 2-3 Typhoons to Hit Coastal Areas in July, Above Historical Average

According to China Meteorological Administration, the northwestern Pacific and South China Sea are expected to generate 4-6 typhoons in July, above the historical average of 3.8. Of these, 2-3 are forecast to make landfall or impact China's coastal regions, compared to the historical average of 1.8. The typhoons are expected to be stronger than normal, with risks of major typhoons affecting northern China.
