Lately I’ve been getting a bit tempted again by RWA projects on the blockchain—honestly, it’s that sense of security, like, “finally backed by real-world assets; it won’t just go to zero,” that’s tugging at me... But when I dig into the redemption terms, I calm down: liquidity looks quite plentiful on-chain, but when it’s actually time for you to exit, you may need to queue, wait for a window, and still get blocked or restricted by all kinds of conditions. This kind of liquidity feels a bit like an illusion. And on top of that, if some pools have a big slippage, I start to suspect I’m getting sandwiched; the mempool gets clogged, and your orders sit there like mere props. Recently, Meme/celebrity call signals have been rotating round after round, and I really believed it when older players advise not to take the last step—because even a “attention asset” in a different wrapper is the same. In any case, I’ll first write the redemption out clearly and enable all protection settings before I do anything else.
