According to Jin10, the U.S. Senate passed a procedural vote on sanctions against Russia and Iran on July 28, with 86 votes in favor and 12 opposed. Under the bill, the United States will impose 100% secondary tariffs on countries that continue purchasing Russian oil and natural gas. The legislation also extends Iran sanctions originally set to expire by year-end.
