Binance Assists India's NCB in Disrupting Darknet Drug Network Team Kalki, Freezes Crypto Assets

According to Binance CEO Richard Teng, India's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recently disrupted the darknet drug network Team Kalki, with Binance and the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) assisting in freezing related crypto assets. The network used encrypted messaging platform Session, darknet forum Dread, and dead drop delivery methods to distribute drugs from international suppliers. Investigators recovered thousands of drug units from domestic and international packages linked to the operation. Binance provided blockchain analysis and wallet tracking to help authorities trace crypto fund flows and identify associated wallets.
