U.S. Net Capital Inflows Hit Record $884 Billion in 12 Months Through April 2026

According to The Kobeissi Letter, U.S. net capital inflows reached a record $884 billion in the 12 months through April 2026. The metric reflects foreign capital flowing into U.S. financial markets through asset purchases by private investors and official institutions.

Private sector purchases of U.S. stocks surged to $763 billion in April, marking an all-time high, while official institutions increased purchases to $121 billion, more than doubling since the start of the year.
