U.S. 10% Universal Tariff Set to Expire This Month; Trade Rep Uncertain About One-to-One Replacement

According to Bloomberg, U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Grimm said on Thursday that the 10% universal tariff set to expire at the end of this month will be replaced by multiple measures rather than a direct one-to-one substitute. Grimm indicated potential actions under Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 may be among the replacement measures.
