Ten-year gilt yields gained 0.6 basis points to 4.757% in the session, showing a V-shaped intraday pattern that peaked at 4.782% later in the day. Longer-dated gilts moved lower, with 30-year yields declining 1.3 basis points and 50-year yields falling 0.8 basis points. The 2-10 year yield spread compressed by 3.8 basis points to +56.882 basis points.
