UK Imposes Sanctions on 4 Chinese Entities Over Alleged Russia Military Support on June 16

According to the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom, on June 16, the UK government announced sanctions against multiple entities and individuals from several countries, including 4 Chinese companies, citing their alleged provision of critical military equipment to Russia.

The Chinese Embassy said it has lodged solemn representations with the UK, firmly opposing the unilateral sanctions, which it stated lack international legal basis and harm Chinese enterprise interests. China said it will take necessary measures to firmly defend the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises and urged the UK to immediately correct its mistake and revoke the sanctions.
