Trump Announces U.S. Agreement with Iran on Nuclear Commitment and Strait of Hormuz on June 14

According to the Wall Street Journal, President Trump announced on June 14 that the U.S. has reached a memorandum of understanding with Iran, which includes Iran's commitment not to acquire nuclear weapons and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Trump stated the agreement will be electronically signed by him or Vice President Vance. The agreement will not provide funding to Iran but may lift sanctions. Trump indicated uranium enrichment matters could be addressed later. Iran has not yet publicly confirmed its agreement to the deal.
