Tornado Cash DAO Faces Suspicious Proposal Threatening $23M in TORN, June 25

According to L2BEAT researcher Sergey Shemyakov, Tornado Cash DAO surfaced a suspicious proposal on June 25 with an unverified target contract, a rarity in the protocol's governance history. The proposal creator received funding via Railgun four days prior. If executed, the governance contract would make a delegatecall to the unverified target, potentially enabling a direct attack on the DAO, which currently holds approximately $23 million in TORN tokens. The Tornado Cash protocol itself remains secure.
