Sweden Opposes Tesla FSD Expansion in Europe Over Overspeed Concerns, April 30 Letter Shows

According to Reuters, Sweden's transport authority recommended on April 30 that the EU vote against Tesla's supervised self-driving software (FSD) expansion in Europe unless the company disables features that exceed legal speed limits. The letter was sent to the EU's motor vehicle technology committee, scheduled to discuss the matter again on June 30. Tesla did not respond to requests for comment; Sweden's transport authority said its position has not changed since sending the letter.
