South Korea Raises Minimum Margin Requirement for Leveraged Stock Trading to 30 Million Won

According to Yonhap News, South Korea's financial regulator has raised the minimum margin requirement for single-stock leveraged trading from 10 million to 30 million Korean won. Cash is now the sole accepted form of collateral, and each leveraged stock transaction is limited to a maximum purchase of 20 shares per order.
