SoftBank's $40 Billion OpenAI Bridge Loan Adds 21 New Lenders on July 27

According to Bloomberg citing sources, SoftBank attracted 21 new lenders to its $40 billion bridge loan for OpenAI on July 27. The new lenders collectively received approximately $7 billion of the loan amount, with Abu Dhabi First Bank, Singapore's Temasek, and Standard Chartered each subscribing to nearly $1 billion. The remaining $33 billion is currently held by underwriters and senior lenders, with potential for further syndication.
