SK to Delist EV Charger Maker SK Signet; Anchor Equity Partners Emerges as Potential Buyer

According to the Korea Financial Supervisory Service, SK Co., Ltd. announced on July 24 a public tender offer for 25.07% of KONEX-listed EV charger manufacturer SK Signet to facilitate delisting and sale. The tender period runs from July 24 to August 24. Anchor Equity Partners, the PE firm that acquired majority control of SK Eleclink in 2022, is the likely buyer following an non-binding memorandum of understanding signed on July 15. An Anchor acquisition of SK Signet would complete the vertical integration of EV charging infrastructure manufacturing, installation, operations, and maintenance.
