According to Jin10 Futures, precious metals rallied on Monday, with silver (沪银) up nearly 4%, platinum up over 3%, and palladium near 3%, driven by easing Middle East tensions after Trump postponed expanding military strikes on Iran. International energy prices fell significantly, reducing inflation concerns and lowering expectations for September rate hikes. The U.S. Federal Reserve will hold its July policy meeting on July 28-29. Economic data showed initial jobless claims fell to 187,000 on July 18, the lowest since September 1969, while the composite PMI rose to 53.6, marking an eight-month high. Futures analysts noted strong gold ETF inflows this week net 12.63 tons, reversing earlier outflows, though U.S. dollar strength and elevated Treasury yields may limit upside potential.
