Silver and Brent Crude Oil See Gains in Volume and Open Interest on CME, June 15

According to CME data from June 15, silver and Brent crude oil led commodity markets with increases in both trading volume and open interest. Silver trading volume rose by 2,113 contracts to 62,919 hands, while open interest increased by 717 contracts to 108,192 hands. Brent crude oil volume climbed by 5,725 contracts to 135,706 hands, with open interest up 662 contracts to 251,137 hands. Gold saw trading volume decline by 2,728 contracts to 148,100 hands, but open interest increased by 1,074 contracts to 340,200 hands. WTI crude oil and natural gas volumes also rose, though open interest fell for both contracts.
