Samsung Foundry Secures First Neuralink Chip Order for 4nm Production by End of 2027

According to Korea Economic Daily, Samsung Electronics' foundry division has secured its first chip manufacturing contract with Elon Musk's Neuralink, a brain-computer interface company. Samsung will produce Neuralink's fourth-generation chips using 4nm process technology, with trial production having started in May 2026 and mass production targeted for the end of 2027.
