Nasdaq-100 Surges 3% to 30,530 Level Today, Semi Index Gains 4.6%

The Nasdaq-100 index rallied 3% to a new daily high above 30,530 points today (June 15), led by strong gains in semiconductor and technology stocks. Key components surged, including Western Digital up 14.2%, DoorDash up 11.5%, Micron Technology up 8.9%, and Seagate Technology up 8.2%. AMD and SanDisk each climbed at least 6.2%, while Meta gained 5.5% and Alphabet added 3.3%.

Broader market benchmarks also posted solid gains: the S&P 500 rose 1.8%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 1.3%, and the Nasdaq Composite climbed 2.7%. The semiconductor index outperformed with a 4.6% surge.
