S&P 500, Dow Jones, Nasdaq Up 0.4%-0.6% This Week; Semiconductor Stocks Surge 9%-18%

This week, the S&P 500 rose 0.4%, the Dow Jones climbed 0.6%, and the Nasdaq gained 0.6%, with semiconductor stocks outperforming sharply: the semiconductor index surged 9%, while NAND Flash memory chips jumped 18%. In contrast, the Big Seven tech giants index fell 3%.

Within the Nasdaq 100, Arm Holdings led with an 11.2% gain, while Intel, Western Digital, and AMD also rallied, up 6.7%, 6.3%, and 5% respectively. Adobe dropped 6.5%, the largest decliner. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase paced Dow components with gains exceeding 2%, while Apple retreated 1.5%.
