Multiple Strong Earthquakes Strike Near Kamchatka Peninsula on June 19

According to Russia's Geophysics Institute Kamchatka Branch, multiple earthquakes struck near Kamchatka Peninsula on June 19, with magnitudes of 5.6, 6.9, and 6.2. The U.S. Geological Survey separately recorded a 6.6-magnitude earthquake in the same region. Epicenters were located approximately 170 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the regional capital. No casualties have been reported so far, according to official statements.
