20 Medium and Small Rivers in China Exceed Warning Flood Levels from June 18 to 19; Four Hit Record High

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, from June 18 to today (June 19), 20 medium and small rivers across Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, and Guangdong experienced flood levels exceeding warning thresholds. Among them, four rivers including Qingxi Gully in Chongqing and Lekang River, Suoye River, and Jingzhou River in Guizhou exceeded protective levels, with the maximum overage reaching 1.11 meters.

Most rivers have since receded to below warning levels.
