LME Copper Falls 0.54% on Friday as U.S. Interest Rate Outlook Weighs on Market

According to Jin10 Futures, on Friday (June 19), LME three-month copper fell 0.54% amid expectations of sustained higher U.S. interest rates. Nearly half of Federal Reserve policymakers now believe the U.S. requires rate hikes this year, which could dampen demand for growth-dependent industrial metals. Middle East peace agreement progress provided some support to the market.
