Lenovo Sues Longhorn IP for Serial Patent Litigation Abuse Since October 2025, Four Lawsuits Filed

Lenovo has sued Longhorn IP LLC and Hamilcar Barca IP LLC for filing abusive patent litigation against its parent company over an eight-month period since October 2025. According to the complaint, the defendants have initiated at least four lawsuits against Lenovo, with three filed in June 2026 alone. Lenovo alleges the actions violate North Carolina's Abusive Patent Assertions Act and seeks to have the related patents declared invalid.
