Korean Listed Companies' Paid-in Capital Increases Down 24.5% in H1 2026 to 6.3 Trillion Won

According to Korea Securities Depository, Korean listed companies raised 6.27 trillion won through paid-in capital increases in the first half of 2026 as of July 29, representing a 24.5% decline from the same period last year. A total of 220 companies participated in the offerings, a marginal 0.9% increase in the number of participants. In contrast, the number of shares issued through non-paid-in capital increases rose over 10% year-over-year.
