Key Member of Chen Zhi Criminal Gang Extradited from Cambodia to China

According to Red Star News, Liu Ren, a key member of Chen Zhi's criminal gang, was extradited from Cambodia back to China on June 17 by China's Ministry of Public Security. An investigation revealed that since 2016, Chen Zhi directed Liu Ren and others to establish the Jinbei Group in Cambodia, operating multiple online gambling platforms. Since 2020, the group has run telecommunications fraud parks in Cambodia, conducting large-scale telecommunications fraud schemes involving exceptionally large sums. Liu Ren also faces charges of illegal detention and intentional assault. He has been placed under compulsory measures, with the case under further investigation.
