China Announces New Humanitarian Aid Package for Iran, Lebanon on June 17

According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian at a regular press briefing on June 17, China announced it will provide a new batch of humanitarian aid to Iran and Lebanon. The decision comes in response to the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East caused by ongoing conflicts. The aid aims to help the two countries rebuild affected areas and improve living standards for their populations. China previously provided emergency humanitarian assistance to Iran and other regional countries in March 2026.
