Japan FSA Suspends moomoo Securities' New Account Openings for 3 Months Starting June 19

According to Nikkei, Japan's Financial Services Agency on June 19 issued a partial business suspension order against moomoo Securities, requiring the company to halt solicitation and acceptance of new account applications from June 19 through September 18. The FSA also mandated business improvement measures, directing moomoo to clarify responsibility chains and submit a remediation plan to prevent recurrence.
