According to Ireland's Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) with technical support from Europol, on July 2, CAB cracked a third wallet belonging to Clifton Collins, a Dublin cannabis grower convicted in 2017, recovering 500 BTC worth approximately $31 million. Combined with recoveries in March and May, CAB's 2026 total from the case now stands at 1,500 BTC. Nine of Collins' 12 wallets, holding an estimated 4,500 BTC worth over $275 million, remain locked. CAB accessed the funds using decryption resources supplied by Europol's European Cybercrime Centre.
