Nejad clarified that Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei, though previously injured, remains in decision-making authority over matters within his constitutional purview. He emphasized that diplomatic negotiations are handled by the government's executive branch rather than the supreme leader directly. Nejad noted that Iran's current institutional structure, including the Supreme National Security Council, remains unchanged and coordinates major state decisions.
