Speculative net long positions in the dollar reached approximately $300 billion, the highest level since Donald Trump's second presidential term began, with net additions of $370 billion in the first half of 2026—the fastest six-month increase since CFTC began tracking the data in 2012.

U.S. equity inflows have reached $341 billion year-to-date, significantly outpacing the $134 billion recorded in the same period last year, according to Bank of America estimates.
