ING Analyst Predicts USD/CHF Could Rise to 0.85 in August if SNB Maintains Low Rates

According to Chris Turner, ING analyst, on July 28, if the Swiss National Bank maintains zero interest rates this year, the Swiss franc may weaken further. Turner noted that low Swiss rates amid rising global yields have pressured the franc, making it attractive for carry trade funding. He forecasts that if the Federal Reserve raises rates on Wednesday, USD/CHF could climb to 0.85 in August.
