According to a Quantstamp independent security report disclosed by Humanity, attackers with North Korean hacking characteristics breached the platform through spear-phishing emails impersonating Bithumb exchange. They deployed remote control trojans on project directors' devices to extract private keys. On Ethereum, attackers drained approximately 114.18 million H tokens by upgrading the contract; on BSC, they compromised the ProxyAdmin contract and minted additional tokens. Stolen assets were then liquidated on Uniswap and PancakeSwap over 8 hours. Ethereum-side H token contracts are now frozen, but BSC deployment remains under attacker control with minting privileges intact. The main bridge was not affected.
