HKEx Waives Trading Fees on U.S. Dollar Gold Futures, Launches Incentive Plans for 12 Months

According to Guru Club, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing announced on May 27 that it will waive trading fees on U.S. dollar gold futures contracts from July 6, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The original trading fee of $1 per contract per side will be eliminated across all market participants. HKEx has also opened applications for a liquidity provider incentive plan and an active trader incentive plan under the same 12-month period. Applicants must submit applications by June 16, 2026, and can participate in only one of the two programs.
