According to Critini Research analyst Jukan, on June 25, manufacturers can redirect portions of DDR production capacity toward HBM (high-bandwidth memory) to mitigate downward price pressure in the broader storage market. Even if DDR5 prices normalize and decline to previous levels, the surge in HBM demand will continue to absorb production capacity previously allocated to general-purpose DRAM, providing price support and preventing a comprehensive market collapse.
