Consumer DRAM and NAND Prices Surge in Q2, LPDDR5X Up 89%, UFS Doubles

DRAM-7.29%

According to market research firm Sigmaintell, consumer DRAM and NAND memory prices rose sharply in Q2 2026. LPDDR5X 12GB prices surged 89% from Q1, while LPDDR4X 4GB jumped 75%. Universal Flash Storage (UFS) prices climbed as much as 100%, and SSD prices rose approximately 50% quarter-over-quarter.

AI server demand is squeezing consumer memory supply. High-bandwidth memory (HBM), server DRAM, and enterprise SSD products are prioritized for production capacity, leaving consumer-grade memory in short supply. The shortage is expected to ease gradually in H2 2026, particularly for lower-tier products.
