Germany to Receive U.S. Ebola Patient from Congo for Treatment at Berlin Hospital

According to CCTV News, today (May 19), Germany will receive a U.S. national infected with Ebola virus in Congo for treatment at Berlin's Charité Hospital. A specialized aircraft for transporting highly infectious patients will be arranged by U.S. authorities to transfer the patient.

The patient will be admitted to a special isolation ward completely isolated from routine hospital operations, posing no additional risk to public safety, the German Health Ministry said.
