The U.S. Senate voted on Tuesday (May 20) to advance a war powers resolution challenging President Trump's military operations against Iran by a 50-47 margin, with four Republican senators joining Democrats in the procedural move. This marked the eighth such attempt; all seven prior resolutions had been defeated.

According to Bitrue Research Institute, the vote may ease geopolitical risk pressures on crypto markets. Analyst Andri Fauzan Adziima told Cointelegraph that de-escalation signals could trigger a 6-10% Bitcoin relief rally, with BTC trading around $76,500 at the time of writing.
