Founders Fund Launches MAFIA Game Show With Sam Altman, Eliminated in Voting

Founders Fund recently launched a reality show called MAFIA on YouTube and X, featuring tech leaders including OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Anduril Industries founder Palmer Luckey, and Figma CEO Dylan Field playing a social deduction game at San Francisco's Tosca Cafe.

In the game, players are randomly assigned roles as either mafia members or civilians, with mafia members attempting to eliminate others undetected. Altman employed logical analysis to assess other players but was voted out on the third night after accusing Signal co-founder Moxie Marlinspike of being mafia. The first episode quickly garnered over 10,000 views, with analysts noting the trend reflects venture capital's broader push into entertainment and narrative control.
