According to CoinDesk, on June 18, the Federal Reserve maintained interest rates unchanged while projecting rate increases in coming years. The Fed's latest dot plot raised its 2026 median rate forecast from 3.4% to 3.8%, 2027 from 3.1% to 3.6%, and 2028 from 3.1% to 3.4%. The 10-year and 2-year Treasury yield spread narrowed to 28 basis points, the tightest level since April 2025, signaling a more hawkish Fed stance.
